Hints of the Vineyard: Born from the best selection of Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero and Trebbiano Toscano growing on the sun oriented Tuscany hills, Chianti represents the Tuscan viticulture all over the world.The Chianti area has been the first Italian wine district which was able to rule its own wine production by the constitution of a Producers’ Union Vinification The wine-making technique is run under the highest respect for the grapes. They are picked up by hand, then, pressed without stalks, they start the fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Hence, the wine naturally settles.

Ageing:
It ages in big and small oak barrels for about six months. It is bottled in the following year’s spring.

Grape Variety: Chianti is usually made with Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia.

Tasting Notes:
Brilliant red in colour, with garnet shades, it reveals a clean and intense bouquet reminding red fruit tones, leather, vanilla and spices, well mixed up thanks to the ageing. Very rich in the mouth, it has a good lingering aftertaste, confirming its perfect harmony.

Food Pairing Notes:
Splendid with roasts of white and red meat and game.
