Name: Nebbiolo d'Alba doc "Tradizione"
Appellation: Denominazione di Origine Controllata
Area of Origin: This prestigious red wine is made up with the noble Nebbiolo grapes grown in the renowned hills of the Langhe,
near the town of Alba, in Piedmont. Nebbiolo is one of the most sensitive vines to the soil composition and climate (terroir),
as well as a difficult grape variety to be vinified. Nevertheless, skillful hands are able to give this wine unique features.
Vinification: The same variety is used to vinify both Barolo and Barbaresco, two of the greatest Italian red wines.
Grapes come from the same Langhe area. Nebbiolo harvest is one of the latest in Piedmont; actually, it seems that this grape variety name
comes from the morning fog (nebbia) of the Fall season.
Ageing: To gain its appellation and to enhance its flavour profile, Nebbiolo is matured in oak casks for at least one year.
Grape Variety: Nebbiolo
Tasting Notes: Brilliant red in colour with garnet hues. Elegant bouquet of ripe fruits with hints of dried roses and
a note of sweet spices. The harmonious taste is dry with firm tannins, the flavour is concentrated, with a remarkably lingering aftertaste.
Food Pairing Notes: Nebbiolo is perfect to be served with sausages, boiled and stewed red meats and mature cheeses.

Ageing Potential: 3 - 4 years
