Area of Origin: Barbera is one of the finest grape varieties grown in Piedmont, where its crisp acidity and deep colour make it a perfect wine accompany the region’s rich cuisine. Some of the finest Barbera’s come from the Langhe hills around the town of Alba.
Hints of the Vineyard: Barbera has been called “The people’s wine” of Piedmont for its versatily and its abundant production, close to 55 per cent of the total red D.O.C production. Barbera d’Alba is made of 100% Barbera grapes.
Ageing: This wine enhances the characteristics of the grape with a traditional ageing in the bottle.

Tasting Notes: The colour is a deep brilliant red, the aroma pleasantly fruit forward with notes of spice, it is full bodied, crisp and at the same time well rounded with a lingering fruit finish.
Food Pairing Notes: Perfect with duck, roast meats and rich sauces. Serving temperature: 18°- 20° C.
