Name: "Rinforzato" Rosso Puglia igt
Appellation: Indicazione Geografica Tipica
Area of Origin: Made in the southern Italian region of Apuliae, only from traditional and autochthonous varieties.
Hints of the Vineyard: The style has been slowly developed and refined over many years by the passionate dedication of the three senior Winemakers of the Giordano Staff. Their goal was to create a fine wine, both traditional and modern at the same time, by reducing sharpness in order to obtain a supple, full bodied wine.
The goal has been achieved with the vintage 2009.
Ageing: This wine ages in barriques.
Grape Variety: Autochthonous combinations of fine grapes.
Tasting Notes: A wine with an intense aroma of red fruits which, in the mouth, expresses all its complexity with fully structured tannins mellowed with the ageing in barriques. Tasty and fresh, it is a wine with a long finish that lingers in the memory. A wine rich of expressions with a masterful character.
Food Pairing Notes: The perfect wine for rich meaty stews, roast and game dishes, as well as mature cheeses. Serve at: 18-20°C.
Ageing Potential: 70 months
Average Alcohol Percentage: 14.5%
