Area of Origin: Our Primitivo grapes grow in the Salento wine district, in Torricella, Sava and Manduria villages. These traditional vines, trained with the typical Apulian Head Training method, usually produce low yields.

Hints of the Vineyard: Ripe grapes of exceptional quality are hand picked and undergo a slow fermentation, at controlled temperature, in Giordano Torricella winery.

Grape Variety: Primitivo

Tasting Notes: Deep cherry red in colour, intense mature scent, rich fruity notes, fig. Complex bouquet with vanilla hints. Full bodied, with a silky texture, red fruits and gently oaky notes; elegant, harmonious finish.

Food Pairing Notes: Best with fine Mediterranean dishes, stews, strong cheeses. Serve at: 18 – 20 °C.

Average Alcohol Percentage: 13.5%
