Puglia Rosso igt Organic

Name: Puglia Rosso igt Organic

Appellation: Indicazione Geografica Tipica

Area of Origin: Produced in the provinces of Brindisi, Taranto and Lecce, in Apulia Region.

Hints of the Vineyard: This wine is made from certified  and selected organic grapes only, which are grown in the clayey and  calcareous soil of Apulia region. The sea and jagged coastline with its ancient watchtowers are not far away from the vineyards and the sunny exposure of this land guarantees plenty of light and allows the perfect ripening of the grapes. The effect of the sea breezes contributes to the thickening of the grape skin, which is where all the important tastes and aromas are concentrated before being released during the wine making process.

Vinification: Harvest is made by hand in late October and the vinification  process takes place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature to keep all the organoleptic characteristics of the varietals.

Grape Variety: Apulian grape varieties.

Tasting Notes: This deep dark red wine is endowed with intense scents of ripe fruit and remarkable notes of blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. Its flavour is wrapping and full-bodied, with a pleasant finish of dark chocolate.

Food Pairing Notes:  Perfect with rich flavoured dishes, red meat, game and both fresh and matured salami. Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
